Sub-dividing Boards

Ok this is question to the people who arrange the whole Forum

I have seen that in our forums, sometimes it will be difficult to get or find the proper thread/topics. When you find it, the topic will be on a different version of Joomla. Well this is not a complaint, our moderators has a lot to do and are doing a good job trying to cope with all thousands of posts we have here.

My humble suggestion is that may be we make it more easy if we ask the Joomla version when someone post a question especially under General questions, Instalations etc. or just create some sub-borad or so, dividing it into group of versions so that someone looking for some fix in 1.0.11, does not land up in 1.0.4.

Another problem is, most of our users (including me at times) forget to mention the verion they are running and have problems with, sometimes the answers itself may be out of place.

All users who run Joomla will be using the latest stable, ie as of today, 1.0.11 Anyone running something older is running an insecure website.

When the second version of Joomla is released, 1.5 the forum will be divided up to make that clear. Until then, there is only one stable version of Joomla.. 1.0.X
