Archive/Download PM?
Archive/Download PM?
Hi,
is there some method how to download/archive the content of the PM folders? I'd like to keep some of the PMs for personal reference onmy local box, but I can only see a "prune" option.
Thanx,
CirTap

There isn't sorry.
However, what you can do, is save the page as html. That's about the best we have.. one of the reasons, I prefer email for any important matters.

There is an option to send all emails you receive to your email address. This only works for received PMs though.

Tonie,
yes, I have that option enabled. but as you said, it gives me the incoming stuff only, and I usually remove the notifications from my local mailbox once I read the forum post or PM.
I guess I go brad's way and use Scrapbook to collect those "threads" from PM... and the purge the ole crap.
It'd be great though if there was some forum mod/extension to do this like in VB or IPB or ...

Thanks for mentioning the Scrapbook extension for Firefox CirTap. What an amazing extension.

Have checked the SMF Site and nothing found in that direction
The "Humor, Fun and Games" forum has more than 2500 Posts, so why not build a "Humor, Fun and Games Working" Group?
.....

thanx for looking, Marko. Pretty bizzare there's nothing available... well.
@MMMedia: you're welcome I totally agree, can't live without it anymore
I used the "combine" feature to, well ... combine the thread of a PM into a single document.
Have fun,
CirTap

Do you have a link to the mod page, not just the download?
