I can think of no better choice than Chris Davenport to join the core team. When I saw his name several weeks ago appear on the menu list for the Development Blog, I was hoping this might be the plan.

Good for Joomla!. Thanks, Chris, for serving the community in this manner. Good for all of us!  :)

Welcome to the team Chris :) I really love the idea about the developers documentation .. It will be a great addon for Joomla! and will help alot in development of Joomla! by the 3rd party users
