1.5 Demo Login??

Hi,

I have tried this twice now. Today and a month or so ago.

I tried registering, and an error comes up with the message about clicking to activate, but I get the email anyway.

So when I click on the activation link, the site gives back a 500 error. And then when I try to login I get an error message without a language definition - E_NOLOGIN_BLOCKED.

Is there any chance the demo could be set up with a std login/password. Because I, like many am wanting to see what's new!

Yeah, I was just thinking, I should install it myself on one of our servers. 

Although it's rubbish that the demo doesn't work in the first place.

Thanks for letting us know. The demo sites do need updating and some attention. It's on my to do list.

Error: E_NOLOGIN_BLOCKED still be encountered even after successfull registration and receiving e-mail for a password reset.

Until the Joomla 1.5 Demo website is revised/fixed/udpated, is the only alternative downloading the CD?  And, if so, what are the install requirements to run the Demo CD?

All I did was unzip it and click the  Server2Go icon. 

Administrator login is:
user: admin
password:admin

I guess it would be as the download name includes Windows.
