I couldn't find the contact person for that portion of the website...
If you go look at the Letterman component (or any extension) and see the # of days since it was last updated, it is incorrect. In fact, the number of days since it was last updated for all components is incorrect.
You will also see that the comments are no longer in chronological order.
Something certainly went screwy recently.....

Actually Joomla! Extensions Directory (JED) works as planned for both '# days since update' and 'comments order'.
Can see that you expect something different, so lets try to explain.
The '# days since update' is related to the listing in JED, not to release/versionnumber of the extension.
When the owner/developer updates the description of the listed extension, then this is recorded as latest update.
Taking 'Letterman' as an example, it was updated 29 days ago. At that time a new developer, a new download location and a minor change to the description was added. So the information in the listing was updated 29 days ago.
Like brian referred to, there has been a change in review ordering when we did the last update of JED.
Now helpful reviews will be listed higher than other reviews.
