Categories and sub-categories - Organization

As Ot2Seen works very fast here are some ideas to rearrange categories and sub-cat at JED


# Content & News

- moving:
. Social Bookmarking: from Miscellaneous (blog is there also)
. Quotes: from Miscellaneous
. Recipes: from Miscellaneous

# Calendars category

- Rename it to Date and calendars?

- and then include also the subs:
. Clocks: from Content & News


# Intranet & Groupware --- (now with sub-cat: Contacts, CRM, LDAP, Project & Task Management)

- wouldn't be better to rename to include colaborative work:
"Support & Colaboration"
"Support & Colaborative work" ?

- and then include also the subs:
. Help Desk: from Miscellaneous (or Communication)
. Progress: from Miscellaneous
. Ratings & Reviews: from "Content & News"
. Group Access: from Core Enhancements
. User Management: from Core Enhancements


# Tools

moving:
. Development Tools: from Miscellaneous to Tools
. would it be possible to rearrange those 27 / 48 extensions? Some of them would be better at "Admin Tools".
A programmers point of view (I'm not) would be a nice input here.


# Vertical Markets

- rename the category to some less economics but more related to work areas
"Specific markets?" or "Special areas?"

- moving:
. Sports & Games: from Miscellaneous to Vertical Markets
. Religion: from Miscellaneous to Vertical Markets (education is there also!!)
. Reservations: from Calendars to Vertical Markets

Hi horus_68,

Your suggestions from earlier today did match pretty good with the planned tasks we had, and your help of listing candidates for these new categories actually did speed up things 

These new suggestion could be taken in consideration for future rearranging.
At the moment we will put "spring redecoration" on hold, so users wont get confused

And remember that the Forge categories (trove) may also need an update, as it was stated it has a similar struture.
