The end of Aug, we registered http://www.iE85.com & http://www.iE85.org (E85 = 85% ethanol / 15% gasoline). We felt that those domains rather limited our objective, as we do not believe that any single alternative / biofuel can help avert our addiction to fossil fuel usage. We originally established the site using Mambo since at the time a stable release of Joomla was not yet available. Last week we migrated over to Joomla v1.0.2 ... part of the reason we didn't make any hesitation towards the migration was the obvious emphasis that the "Open Source Matters" team has put surrounding the nonprofit community (such as this forum/subforum).
This weekend we registered our new domain that will also serve as a slogan for our nonprofit organization -- http://www.ViewToRenew.org ... to help create more localized communities, we will be utilizing relevant subdomains, for example, Denver.ViewToRenew.org
If anyone has any interests in Renewable Fuels and would like to contribute, we are always looking for volunteers to help with layout, design, content creation, etc, etc. Drop me an email, PM, or instant message.
Update: Oct 10, 2005
Changed org name from Alternative to Renewable. Do not want to give people a subconscious impression that alternative might denote that the fuels can never become mainstream, which in our opinion, must happen.
