concerning extensions library and J!.X.XX and J!1.5

Post by bratanon » Sat Apr 14, 2007 1:31 am

This maybe off-topic but I dont know were to post it.

Wouldnt it be good to separate the extension library into two diffrent "sections".

One for extensions for J!1.X.XX
And one for J!1.5 extensions.

What do you think about that?

Hi bratanon,

Thanks for your input  :)
At the moment there is only one stable release of Joomla!, and that is Joomla! 1.0.12, so for now one 'section' does the job well.
When a second stable release 1.5 has seen the daylight, then your suggestion might become relevant.

We have focus on ensuring that the different 1.0.x Compatible, 1.5 Native and 1.5 Legacy extensions, will be presented in a well-arranged manner. Could be this can be done within the current setup, could be some rearranging is needed. We just have to wait and see  :)
