Need account manually activated

Hi, I'm having repeated problems trying to get a new account set up with my existing username.  Having tried several times over the last mnth or two, I never get any activation emails, even when my junk email filter is off/closed down.
The moderator at the translation forum recommended that I make a post here and request one of the moderators here to manually create an account.  Is that possible?

I'd like to get up and running to get the Irish translation moved over to the new site and I need this to get started.

I used batmanjd.
I used a different email address but I think that the normal one that I've been using would be fine.
