Joomla Bookshelf

Post by Butch » Wed May 09, 2007 7:53 am

Hi there,

I would like to know with what component/ or how you made the Joomla Bookshelf.
I want to make a scientific literature reference database for a software company.
Ownbiblio and bibliography don't work so nice.

Kind regards,
Butch

Yes.

Its probably best if you spend a little time reading the user manual at help.joomla.org

Will save you time in the long run

Hi Butch,

It is simply a Menu created with a Section Item with a description and image and a number of Categories which in turn hold the individual book references in Content Items. In addition I have today added a contact form for people to submit new books in a bid to get around the perennial self-promotion/publicity issues on the forums.

Thanks
