Iam getting spammed, plz help me

Hi Admins,

3 weeks ago I was at the top 5 extensions at joomla with my new idea, I was at the top of the forms section for about 2 months, about 2 weeks ago a new extension called "Forme" was released, then Iam reguraly getting "very poor" or "poor" ratings "DAILY", this "Forme" extension is getting "Excellent" ratings daily and always jump at the top, you can investigate with other forms extensions authors too if they follow the ratings page 

I started to feel that nobody can stop this guy!! we cant get spammed because of some ... mind like this, any help ?

I suggest nobody can rate/review without being a member for at least 30 days or so and their names get listed and their IP tracked and sent to extension author and suggest the author gets an email on every review/rating with the user vote, name,  IP.

now we have some guy who easily cheat and force himself over others

The voting process will be tweakers in another release. Somebody of the team will most likely take a look at the votes for your extensions

Unfortunately, there's no way that we're going to send any information to extensions developers regarding votes and reviews.

1. We will have a look at this issue raised, and take action if needed.

Surpricingly some forget to read the simple rules for voting http://extensions.joomla.org/content/view/12/36/

A user account can only vote once per extension. Please do not vote until you've used an extension thoroughly, making sure you have configured it correctly.
It is not allowed for a any person to solely rate an extension to artificially inflate the rating or vote count.
It is not allowed for the same person to have more than one account on the Joomla! Extensions Directory.
It is not allowed for an extension developer to give negative votes to other extensions who are in competion for rating ranks, or to submit votes to extensions which offer similar functionality.
Family/colleagues of extensions developers are not allowed to vote on extensions from that developer.

If any of the above three rules are broken by an extension developer who has extensions on the Joomla! Extensions Directory, all extensions owned by the developer will be unpublished from the Joomla! Extensions Directory for a time set by the Joomla! Extensions Editors (starting from one month to inifinity).

2. Privacy of users won´t be shared. Se above rules:

In no circumstances will personal information from Joomla! Extensions Directory members be shared with 3rd parties, unless this is the direct wish of said member.

@sheva77:  I believe that any developer whose extensions is listed in JED have the same problem. 
You going to be listed in "top ten" and the next 5-10 votes are most always very poor.
It's very sad

Hi Tonie, Ot2sen, Thank you very much, I'm feeling much better now knowing that somebody will investigate this! 

Regarding my suggestions, I just meant that the developer can get any cheater faster and start to point admins to it, in the past 2 weeks I got about 12 votes and 3 reviews, the other extension also got the almost the same, I would be interested to see who put those votes and when and compare them with his voters too, this would make me more sure and would make me post here earlier, thats all, but its fine we must follow the rules!

Hi neo_fox, I may agree on this but even after getting far from the top 5 I was getting the poor ratings daily, yesterday I got 2 of them, there is someone who want me down all the time, I never get up for more than few hours, please note that I was at the top for 2 months with no change at all, all this miss started when this new extension released, I can't believe all this is by chance and regular users found that my extension is very painfull to keep on rating me very poor everyday!

Is it useful to know that a backup component is slightly more appreciated than a CSS validation tool?

exactly. But it animate some people to giving bad votes because some component is listed in some "top" list. I think

neo_fox, No, actually its very simple, did you ever hear about a scandal at the Italian soccer league  ( Serie A ) last season which knocked out Juventus and AC Milan and may be another 2 teams ? the same happened at the Forms directory lately
