Delete My projects
I created a project not too long ago and then i created another. both contain nothing and i would like them both deleted so i can create a new project. the projects are JChat and J!Chat (Yes they are the same thing). I am not on the project becasue i thought if the last person left the project would get deleted.

Re: Delete My projects
Sorry to dig this back up again, but when i just tried to reregister the project, i was told there already was a J!Chat "with the exact same description". I checked the project list and i didn't find J!Chat. Little help?

Q: My project got rejected because ofand I was asked to re-register it. Now I cannot re-submit it, I get a message saying that the project already exists.
A: Re-register your project using a different "Unix Project Name". (This is a known issue that is being worked on as we speak, apologies for the inconvenience )

Re: Delete My projects
This is a Gforge 'feature'. It places the name of the deleted project in a table with the other deleted projects. After that, that name can't be used any more. The only way to remove this, is to start removing items in the database. This is something we're not very keen on, since we don't know what the effect of that would be.

Sometimes one pays most for the things one gets for nothing.
The important thing is not to stop questioning. Curiosity has its own reason for existing. AE

You could install it onto another server and try it there...
By the way, could you wipe the entire SVN including the revisions on J!Chat (UNIX Name: jirci) so i could start the svn over from scratch?

I encounter the same issue on my personal Gforge AS. I've discussed on #gforge about it, and the classical version of Gforge seems having solved it by a "Permanently delete this project" option to check before deleting a project.
I'm using the limited version of Gforge AS, so I can't take advantage of support, but may Joomla can?
thanks
