Need a RESOURCE PERSON to talk about designing and webmastering for Joomla

I am with Brotherhood of Destiny, Inc. (BROOD) in the Philippines and we are planning to have a 1-day workshop regarding how to use and do webmastering in JOOMLA so that our members in the ICT Team can help out other NGOs and organization with their site as part of our IT Extension Projects.

Is there anyone available in the Philippines?  The workshop details are below:

VENUE:  National Ecology Center, East Avenue, Quezon City
TIME FRAME:  At least 3 hours

Is the transpo free? And is there any equipments available like computers, projectors, microphone and internet connection at the said place? And is there a fee for the speaker? I can contact some of my colleagues (or even myself) if you can give more details. I also think that it's much better to also post it on the Filipino Forums.

We could probably give subsidy for the transportation but not that much because our organization also has very little source of funds and funds itself.

If you referring to possibility of hands on per se per participant in the venue I think that is absent and not possible at the moment.

There will definitely be a projector and microphone.

As for internet connection we can try to arrange for it.

And is there a fee for the speaker?

We can include a certain amount of fee for the speaker but we just hope that it can also be part of service for the youth since this will also equip cause oriented organizatios.

If theres an internet connection, and atleast P1,000 fee (with free transpo, in a way that atleast I can still absent on my work) I can teach the very basic of joomla and how to use it in many ways. I am very willing to give the lesson. I will prepare a 3-4 module lesson that can be divided by time to time giving the students a time for a break.

I will be comming from marikina, about an hour away (due to traffic, hehehe). It's not that I'm really into money, it's just I want to compensate an income if I will do absent that day. By the way, can you please specify what do the students expect from the speaker? And what are the lessons needed to be taught?

I understand that.  Well the training is being done in order for them to learn on how to start a Joomla site; install modules, components and mambots; modify default templates and integrate other components including administration.

Since our organization has various cause related projects and we have a Sponsorship-for-Website fund generation mechanism their knowledge will enable the organization to offer these sponsorship-for-website and related services to more organizations and individuals.  In turn it will generate more fund for organizational cause and a possible livelihood for them to aid them personally.

We have many members who are out-of-school youth or who have no stable job that is why through this we also want to help them so that they can make a difference.
