Spell Check does not work in IE

Joomla Development team,
  Regarding Joomla 1.0 posting message page, there is a Spell Check Button on the bottom of the page. It works well in Firefox, however in the Microsoft IE, the button button does not work. If you click that button inside IE browser, the new window  contain nothing. Is there anyway to solve that problem?
