Suggestions...

-All the items in Joomla Forge should be categorized... lets say ecommerce is one category... another way could be to have levels of categorization i.e. components/ecommerce/

-one should not have to click three times to find out that a project is still in alpha. Also one shouldnt have to run a complex query to find that out either... right off the bat that info should be there.

-screen shots should be mandatory to add a project... I mean I kow I could easily tell wether I want to even bother installing something just by looking at it.

-Blatant advertising should not be allowed (esp where there is no substantial contribution (no files to download)- alot of people are doing this to advertise their template sites. Instead they should upload their templates..
