Joomla & porn sites

Hello every body.


* What do you think of our beloved joomla turning into an advocate of porn sites??

* As purely technical minded regular visitors to this site, do we really need or expect from the home sites of joomla to carry such porn sites advertisments??

* Shouldn't joomla home sites be free of porn ads??

Please help us to keep joomal home sites free of such cheap and offensive porn ads like we saw today.. I don't know who is in charge of banning or posting such porn realated ads here.. But I do know that the net is already overflooded with porn sites. Should Joomla home sites get envolved with that offensive and non technical porn industry???

If you agree with me in keeping Joomla home sites clean and purely technical, Then please try to contact the??? I don't really know who.. but please try to say NO.. NO ASSOCIATION BETWEEN JOOMLA AND THE PORN WORLD.

Joomla is GPL and free software, anyone is free to use it how they choose (within the bounds of the license).

We, the Core Team are certainly against any porn, and will be happy to remove any porn links or articles on any of the offical Joomla websites that we managed. All other websites are out of our control.

If you are referring to an ad you may have seen in our google ads, please let me know and I will block it. I will need to know the url that the ad points to though.

Thanks for your quick responce.. But am not talking about other private sites that are built using joomla.. The porn ads are posted right in our joomla home sites.. you could see it in the extentions section.

I never seen one myself, please can you provide me with a link to the site the ad points to and I will block it.

brad.. the ad I saw appeard just before i started this thread som 15 menutes ago.. it was about school girls being so and so and with pix of 2 girls kissing... it appeared in the extentions site and was so explicit and so unappropriate

But now its been replaced with another ad congratulating all of us of winning the $$$$$$$ prize.
