It would be nice to put together an event on the US East coast this winter. If we went for a training event, how would we go about getting a couple Joomla! gurus and/or "experts" to give training on both the novice and advanced levels? We are only in the talking phase, so suggestions would be appreciated.

You might want to talk to Barrie North (Compass) < http://www.compassdesigns.net/option,co ... Itemid,87/ >. He wrote the Joomla! Template tutorial and has many other tutorial resources. I know he has done training before and he is located on the east coast. Good luck with this, it sounds great!
