Also, please read through the tutorial and become *familliar* with it. Please download the required files listed there so we aren't waiting for download during the chat.
We're hoping to have the new shiny J!Code to play with tonight but just in case we don't please have PDT downloaded (or your favorite flavor of Eclipse) as a contengency.

One thing we noticed last night is Skype can conflict with port 80 and prevent XAMP from starting apache.
On the Skype Options Select Advanced
Look for the connections link
Uncheck the box that says use port 80 and 443 (I think)
Then restart skype.
This will prevent you from going bonkers trying to figure out why the apache server will not start.
Also for windows folks. If you choose the default C: directory settings then most anyones PHP.INI will work for you.
I have a copy of the file ready to go since Lous strolled me through last night.

This day it is my wish that I helped you to live

I updated the wiki late last night to reflect the skype issue and the php.ini trouble. All should be ready.

Last night was very good. I spent part of the morning today getting caught up. I few little snags that I had to iron out, and I'm set up and ready to go.
-One thing to add to the wiki as well is the Ecplipse repo selection that has to be made when installing mylyn, and the fact that you should probably uncheck the other selections.

If you're not a part of the solution, you're a part of the problem.

I missed the chat too.
Perhaps there is a "copy" of it available on the net?
Best regards,

Well, to summarize, J!code didn't make it to press yet. We spent the evening getting everyone up and running with PDT. Some discussion went on about recording our sessions and making them available for download for those that didn't make it. Obviously there is demand for that sort of thing.
We discussed having Tim set up a Log Me In server that we would all be able to connect to for the purposes of being able to watch as things were being configured. We thought that would be useful for "training" sessions for J! and for other things.
Amy pointed out a site called drupaldojo where they hold weekly training screencasts and there seemed to be demand for that also.
Larry brought us up to date on the virtual machine he's building. I think that's going to be great.
No decisions were made about what tools we are going to use in the future but some new software ideas were thrown around. I was particularly impressed with a site called ... well it seems to be escaping me. Amy, what was the site you pointed out that would allow for online conferences? It's the one in Alpha.
That's the minutes as I can recall them.
Sorry datarond and Matthew, we didn't record the audio. We'll do that in the future I believe.

I'm sorry that you didn't record it, but I guess I may have a second chance to be your guest in the future :-)
Keep up the good work!

Ah, I remembered the name of the web meeting software. It's called Dimdim and is available at http://www.dimdim.com
I just checked and their site is down. Remember, it's still in it's infancy so it will be something to watch for.
Trond, I am sorry we missed you last night. We will definitely be doing it again soon. We usually gather on the skype channel every night so tune in and say hello! We'd love to have you.
