Site registration problems

After finally managing to succesfully register on this site after several attempts i can now inform you of the issues i have been having

1) I manage to fill out the registration form succesfuly
2) I receive the "activatiion email"
..... However up until today, this email had always been completely void of content

So unable to actually login to the forums i have been stuck in limbo, waiting for the attempted registration to time out so i could re-apply

To make matters worse, there seems to be no way of contacting the site staff as there doesnt seem to be a "Contact us" page/link and  PM's or forum posting is quite rightly restricted to registered users

My issue is now resolved, todays attempted registration activation email didindeed have content

However because i have had issues with the registration, i suspect others out there could have suffered the same problems, so i thought it best to advise you.

A simple Non registered user forum specifically for registration issues may be a simple solution, or a site contact email.

i tried [email protected] and other similar emails in many several attempts to voice my problem

by the way, i very much like joomla, our community site will be swapping over to it, thanks for all the effort that you guys haved put it, its very much appreciated

I think this issue may have been fixed due to the recent forum software upgrade to SMF 1.1.1
