No it isn't.
I suspect its using the SMF Bridge with some modifications.

It is a standalone install of SMF. 8)

With a sexy custom theme, me thinks? So are all the links hand coded to the header got SMF?

Correct.. well a custom SMF skin take care of all of that.

Right then...that's what I'm doing! Messing about with all this wrapper nonsense! No way José!

So, any pointers on this? Anyone done a good Mambo/SMF theme document?

Can anyone take 5 minutes and put down 5 lines of high level best practise for a Joomla/SMF integration please?

eg - possibly something like....

1) Download SMF
2) Install on Server in same directory as Joomla
3) Install integration program
4) Integrate DB 
etc etc
or whatever it actually is!!
