Joomla exists and is so incredibly wonderful to work with!
I am redesigning the boring, messy, unorganized HTML website for Art Helping Animals- of which I am a member.
So What I am thinking would be incredible would be a rotating image line of the homeless pets we are trying to help
find homes with links to the information pages on each and a text overlay with the name of the pet/location- a pause feature
would be important too. I am wondering if the Frontpage Slideshow would be the best soloution to meet this need of there
are other extensions I have not yet discovered (I have ajax header rotator and simple gallery but neither is quite right for showcasing the
pets.
I am also dreaming of having the banner ad rotate a clickable banner for each of the animal charities that we try to support- exploring this more tonight after kids go to bed.
Also it will clean up the site to have "art for sale" to help animals in a rotating slideshow- I am experimenting with Ajax right now.
We sell the work off of a blog and I am looking into the possibility of a module that will allow us to have updated images rotating from an external blog display on the home page with a link back to the blog???
Sorry if I am a bit all over with my dreams right now
