New Forge/Translation
First of all: looks great
Small wish: If you have managed the move of the whole project etc., could someone please fix the german translation?
It's horrible to see such things like "Programmier Sprache" or "Entwicklungs Status" all over the place. Aaaaargh...
Or simply remove it.
//EDIT: even worse: "Keine Passenden Übergangs Regeln Wurden Gefunden" - 4 mistakes in one "sentence"...
...and the tabs look a bit strange (blue overlapping tab)
But anyway - really nice page - and so fast...

Even Babelfish/Google Translate does this better:
Eingereicht durch ***** auf 2007-03-13 21:32:25
At least the first word matches more or less...
Please remove the German translation...

Re: New Forge/Translation
I am not sure but... you can modify and submiit your corrections to the main gforge project:
http://gforge.org/projects/gforge/
The language files are part of the main distribution as .tab files.

Re: New Forge/Translation
hm...
Then I had to register at gforge... (don't like registering...)
Anyway, no one missed any translation on the old forge, did someone?

nyway, no one missed any translation on the old forge, did someone?
Yes, me
But, I agree! Current translation is horrible. And for that, I will take a look at the translation to correct it.
So, keep patient
Please post the horrible translation and an better alternative on our Bugtracker on Joomla! German Projekt on the new forge.

May I also use the forum (http://forum.joomla.org/index.php/board,70.0.html or so)?
There we could also discuss possible translations...
Re: New Forge/Translation
That's ok. Just open a thread in german subforum. I will take a look there then.
I've started to correct the translation.
Translation of GForge is huge, so I will only change strings that are posted there,
otherwise, I will need some years .
This translation will be a proposal. I don't know if core team will affect changes.
So we shall change a lot of strings for about a month and the propose it to the JoomlaCode Team,
when we think that we are ready.
Reason for that is also the problem, that I can't test the translation, setting up an local GForge isn't
as easy as doing with joomla.
