Yep, Brian is right, you can post in The Lounge for anything unrelated to Joomla! > http://forum.joomla.org/index.php/board,48.0.html

Relax and enjoy The Lounge. For all Non-Joomla! topics or ones that don't fit anywhere else. Normal forum rules apply.

Everytime I have seen or posted a non joomla topic admitedly WITH exceptions most of the time thay seem to vanish. I'm not suggesting talking about"family stuff" or entertainment or that kind of thing and I can understand avoiding politics/religion although I think a little argument/conflict is good for you(I love a good argument)theres  more to life than programing and I mistakenly have gotten the impression that that was the main concern of our existing forum. My apologies.
