Best solution for Workshop Registration Topic is solved

I am going to be using Joomla to set up a site where students can register for workshops. 

I am looking for the best extension to use to do the following:

-allow registration for an event, but the event doesn't happen on a specific day like in a calendar, but on say, every Monday at 10:00

-limit the amount of people who can register for the event.

Any ideas on which extension or module is best to use?

Jombok http://extensions.joomla.org/component/ ... Itemid,35/

Both are commercial, but Jomres has a fee license for 50 guests.
