Make version number mandatory when reviewing

Sitting at office bored started reading JED reviews, some extension have very poor and at the same time very good reviews was wondering if the poor reviews were of different version or what hence could the JED team please implement a Mandatory version number submission when reviewing to help the evaluator know if the review of the extension was of an outdated version or current version. Thank you.

Agree, that would be helpful.
Another good suggestion that will be considered for future improvements

Thanks for considering this. Speaking from recent experience I discounted an extension based on a review. Not finding anything else I returned to that extension and tried it out only to find that all the comments in the review had been addressed by a later release.

Of course the extension developer did have the right to post a comment on the review to state this so it's a shame that they hadn't done that.
