Sort Extention Reviews By Different Variables

Post by TheSaint » Sun Jul 01, 2007 2:32 am

Hey all, I just finished browsing the Newegg.com site and I must say they have some nice features when it comes to feedback. Take a look at this sample product page:

http://www.newegg.com/Product/ProductRe ... 6819115017

Look a little to the left and you'll notice a drop-down menu which lets you sort the reviews by helpfulness, highest rating, lowest rating and date posted. This is extremely helpful for extensions that garner a massive number of reviews.

Also, Newegg has a nice summary of how many people voted for each level of quality, 1 star, 2 stars and so on.

It would be great if some of these features were taken into consideration next time the extension site devs have too much free time on their hands. ;)
