Show project activity in main list

Post by pathfinder » Sat Nov 19, 2005 4:26 pm

Is there any way now (or planned for the future) to sort the projects according to percentage of activity? A lot of times I've looked at projects in the forge and found things I would like to add to my site, only no files have been released. Unless I'm doing something wrong, there doesn't seem to be a way to check the development stage from the main list - you have to click on the project and go to the project page to see activity results. Except for security updates, I don't like to be on mailing lists, so this would be very helpful.

Agreed. Whenever you search for something at sf.net, results are sorted by activity (descending), and there's an icon if the project has released files. It's very useful for sorting out the vaporware and spam projects.
