That's what Tips and Tricks are for.

The FAQ team has moved the questions and answers over the the help site (http://help.joomla.org/component/option ... temid,268/) but we know there were lots of great posts in the FAQ forum that didn't really fit the faq format. So we have created this new forum and will be moving those that still apply over here.

Thanks to everyone who made the old posts; we're looking forward to lots of new ones. 

One thing: A lot of these posts include links to outside sites or hacks to the core of Joomla! We cannot maintain these links or keep the code up to date. That remains the responsibility of the original authors. Please contact them with any questions or suggestions or simply post in the thread.
