Show com_content article in component pages

Hi,

We're currently developping quite a big component that has it's own homepage management system in which we can select what things we can put in what order on each section homepage. We've added the possibility to also select a com_content article tu place in one of these pages. Now we're looking on how to print that article inside our component via com_content or an existing function without going directly into the database.

Is there a "standard" way to do this ?
