Sticky and Normal Icons Request!

Post by paulsjv » Thu Sep 08, 2005 2:24 pm

My request should be really easy to do. :)  I keep getting confused which topics are sticky and which one are normal.  Why's this?  Well I noticed that the icons for sticky threads and normal threads are the same!  Therefore, when I post a topic I expect the thread to be at the top of the forum when in fact it is not.  It takes me a bit to actually find the thread I just posted to because of this especially when there are a lot of sticky threads in the forum.

So... would it be possible to make a new icon for sticky or normal threads so I and other users aren't confused which threads are which?

Thanks for listening!

I echo that

Also echo this, with TFT it is nearly impossible to see the copyright note.

There is actually a mod for SMF that separates the two from each other making it easier to differentiate between the two.  I currently have it installed on my forums if you want to see what it looks like.  Link is in my sig.

I've implemented a solution that I should help better define sticky posts.  basically there's a seperator below sticky posts now and also a couple of 'bangs' !! in front.
