Is there an extension that would allow me to create user-specific content?
That is, I'd like userA to be able to read a section created just for them, and userB to read content just for them, etc...
Thanks!

Hi,
JACLPlus would be the extension you are looking for. See http://extensions.joomla.org/component/ ... Itemid,35/
Regards Robin
p.s. do note that this extension patches core files! so with upgrades you will have to wait untill there is a version from JACLPlus available.

Re: Extension to allow each user to see content only created for them...
I have something similar in mind, and would like to know if this is a pipe dream, or easily done, or if it can be done at all:
I would like to create a website in which I collaborate with other artists. I am a writer myself, and will be collaborating both with other writers and with visual artists on a range of different projects. And sometimes it will be me and one other person, sometimes a team/group.
The tools I'm interested in are blogs, galleries, chat and wiki. Use of the tools would be different from project to project.
So, say:
• on project 1 I would have a private group blog with one other person, UserA (only the two of us can log into the blog, which acts as a repository for all our correspondence and files).
• on project 2 I would have a private group blog, a project gallery with User A and User B.
• on project 3 I would have a wiki and a private group blog with Users B, C and D.
etc.
So that if User B logs in, he sees what is available to him: projects 2 and 3, no more. User A would see projects 1 and 2. User C would only see project 3.
Can something this complex be accomplished with JACLPlus?
Looking forward to any tips and advice, and thank you in advance!
