Joomla! Help Developer Menu

Post by mporcheron » Fri Jun 02, 2006 1:21 pm

Two things were annoying me yesterday when trying to read parts of manual and I thought i should mention them.

Firstly API Reference is on the developer menu twice (see here), and when fixing it deleting the first link would be better as if you click the first API Reference link you loose the developer menu unlike the second.

Secondly, typical me, I noticed that there needs to be some sort of padding of some sort below the developer menu (or a new line) so that it is evenly spaced from the menu below it.

Hi there,

The Developer Documentation is in a period of transition and will soon disapear completely from the Help Site. Basically all documentation of Joomla! 1.0.x has ceased and we are concentrating on the upcoming Joomla! 1.5 release. This has been done in an effort to finally catch up with development.

To see the newer documentation you should go to the Developer site (top menu) and then in the left menu's go to the Developer Wiki, here you will find all the new stuff .

Soon we will transfer all the older 1.0.x content to the Developer Portal, but until then I'm afraid the existing help site content is un-attended.

Cheers
