Why is this and are other people getting this?
Is there a problem with personal messages?

This user has been banned.

There isn't a problem with PMs.  The thing to do would be to use the Report to Admin function located at the bottom of each Personal Message you receive.  We try to do our best regarding spammers, and notifying the Admins of spam you may receive helps us keep the boards clean, and stop them quickly.

Just means that the spammers are being super sneaky all over the place. 

so if we blocked [email protected] that would block alll notifies that we would get including the pm we are meant to get?

Yes it would.  It would be far easier to just ignore, or report, or just delete the PMs that you know to be spam.  Or if you really want to you can disable PMs in your profile.  I wouldn't recommend that though.
