Joomla Tuesday San Francisco - August 8, 2006

Post by cozimek » Sat Aug 05, 2006 6:32 am

Hi everyone,

Continuing on the success of the last four weeks in Washington, DC, PICnet is pleased to announce its first Joomla Tuesday in San Francisco next Tuesday.

PICnet will be hosting a FREE one-hour introductory overview of Joomla, including an introduction to the Joomla administrator, sample Joomla sites, and an understanding of where Joomla's user-friendly system fits in the open source CMS market.

We're extremely happy to see so many groups interested in this great piece of open source software in DC, so we thought we shouldn't keep it from the non-Beltway types.  The session next week will give a general introduction to Joomla from both a community and development point of view.  We'll go over typical questions like "what happened to Mambo" and "why should I choose Joomla", as well as digging into your own questions.
