Problem with Update Post?

Post by AmyStephen » Fri Aug 11, 2006 2:42 pm

Some posts I can update and some I cannot.

I need to update the ItemID issues FAQ for v 1.0.10. There are many people currently posting problems. I now am able to reproduce these problems and understand what code hacks are required. I would like to update the FAQ I created last week so that I can point people to the resource. I updated it a few days ago, but now, the update button is gone.

I used to be able to update my Beginner's Guide, as well. Sometimes better resources arise or old resources go away, and I am more than happy to maintain a current list. But the update button is gone there, as well.

Pictured below you will find examples of this problem. In the same thread, some posts I can update and others I cannot.

Thanks!  :)

Bump.  ;)

I have been maintaining the Absolute Beginner Guide FAQ for the community. I can no longer update this FAQ.

Recently, I created an FAQ to help deal with the 1.0.10 ItemID issues. I can no longer update this FAQ, either.

There are a couple of more issues that I can now reproduce and consistently fix with hacks. I know there are several people -- more popping up all the time -- who have unresolved ItemID problems from the upgrade. I would like to get this known information into the FAQ so that people can take advantage of it. These have been challenging problems.

Is there a reason I can no longer maintain my FAQ Items? Can that be resolved? I would like to continue working with both resources. These are serving our community well.

I would like to get this done tomorrow before leaving out of town for a couple of weeks if at all possible.

Thanks!
Amy  :)

Nothing should have changed on our end, have you tried in another browser? Yes or No

I'll look at this when I get some time... no one else has reported this issue though.

Can anyone else replicate it? <- This questions is addressed to other forum members.
