Is the SW used in the Extensions Dir available for download?

Hi all. First, mad mad props to the Extensions Directory team! Thanks for such a useful resource.

Now, my question: I am trying to implement something very very similar to the Extensions Dir in my site, and after stumbling upon your awesome site, well, I'd like to have the same thing! Is this SW somehow available for download? (hopefully as a Joomla extension!)

Look, I apologize if this has been answered before, but trust me I've spent quite a bit of time searching around in the forums, and I didn't find anything of relevance. Sorry if this is like a total noob question.

BTW, while I'm asking... what do you guys use for this forum? It's amazing!

The component is indeed a Joomla component - but it is a commercial component.

Further it is not to be regarded as a complete component in and of itself. If I remember correctly the authors intend it to be a platform upon which you will customise, tweak and hack to work the way you intend - so it may involve quite a bit of work to get it to work the way you want. That said - I am sure it is quite usable 'out of the box'.

At $99, it's a bit pricey for us at the moment... but it sure is a great piece of SW, and we'll try to offer it to our clients as soon as we can. And, hey, I hadn't realized that it's made by the same crew that brought us Hot Properties. Nice.
