I notice in another thread that developers are allowed to rebutt reviews. So, I just tried to rebutt a user review today because I'm getting lots of e-mails in my mailbox asking for a free copy of our component.

I actually like to keep the review (who wouldn't want one if it sings praises for your component?
) but I would also like to announce that it has been weeks that I've offered the free copy of Jom Comment AND that we are only giving out previous versions of Jom Comment and standard version of it with no upgrade path. I've been getting e-mails that some receipients have some problems using it in the latest update of Joomla 1.1.10 and 1.1.11 and this previous version does not support it.So, I decided to at least tell the free receipients what the bargain is. And we're not giving out the latest update to be fair to our paying customers?
Don't you think my rebutt is fair?
If so, please allow me to explain about the offer which I am thinking of pulling off already. I'm just getting too many e-mails!
