Re: Discuss: Joomla! Wins 'Best CMS Award' Again!
Well Amy, noone is saying Drupal is a bad system or it doesn't deserve the award, but it is just stupid in the way Packt did it.

Re: Discuss: Joomla! Wins 'Best CMS Award' Again!
Ivo, I thought the same, lol. Then I have realized that this is not a competition, this is just another way to help and promote OS projects and Packt has tried to support as many projects as they can, providing more categories. Let's celebrate it Well, there might be a non-php version of Drupal, we...

Re: Discuss: Joomla! Wins 'Best CMS Award' Again!
So is it possible to get the second award?
It will be really stupid if you say that Joomla! is the PHP CMS, but Drupal (ranked 2-nd there) is better in the general category. Funny

Browser - Multiselect field?
While submitting a new bug the user can choose a browser, I had several cases when the issues are multi-browser. Can this field be a mutliselect rather then dropdown?

Can I unpublish my extensions?
OK I have several extensions on the directory. I am currently in process of re-writing one of them and I want to make it invisible for the moment. But I don't want to remove it. Is there such an option?
I know this could be done through the admin panel, my question is if I can do it myself?

Re: Discussion about: Joomla! 1.0.9 out now!!
I have strange bug after update. Updated 1.0.8 to 1.0.9 stable.
Everything works great, except, that the languages and the templates do not appear in the admin panel. So basicly the list of the templates and languages is empty.
Any ideas?

Re: New Extension Typ request
1. Not list them as plugin, as it is confusing
2. Don't create new types like CB plugin, JCE plugin, Joom!Fish plugin, create a type PLUGIN FOR COMPONENT

I think, extension owners MUST be forced to write the status in the version field.

Re: New Extension Typ request
I disagree, it is still a plugin, it is installable, it is much more adequate to be in the directory, compared to the "Tool". The new type component plugin is a good idea, if IT IS installable through the component it serves to. Example for such plugins would be the content element files for Joom!Fi...

Re: Strange bug
So I think this is the easiest way to explain what I did. I was browsing the 1.0.9 code. I was in the languages folder: m Then I clicked on the file english.php and I get to: m I wanted to see the differences between sub-version 2526 and the current one 3507. So I went down the page and entered, whe...

I was trying to get the differences between two sub-version numbers:
So I was trying to get the difference between 2526 and 3507 of the english.php in version 1.0.9 - I can provide additional information as well.
