Re: I Can't Search, I Can't ...

Hi Brad, Just one other thing I've noticed and this is ONLY in ie. The text at the top, eg: control panel, view your post, faq, etc the colour is blue and the background is black so it's kinda hard to see. If I'm using ff the text is on white background so it's ok... Just thought I'd let you know. T...

Re: I Can't Search, I Can't ...

If it works for everyone else seems like I have a problem then.....

When I click on forum, then click in the search box, if I then click on one of the results it goes nowhere. It's now working in firefox but not ie. The link you provided works fine so I guess I'll hang-on to it.

Thanks!

Updated Extensions Showing Up In New Extensions

Is "Recently Updated Extensions" supposed to show up in the "New Extensions" section?  I thought new meant Brand New.

Thanks!!

Re: Why Are Reviews Not Sorted in Order

I kinda like review ordered by date. It keep me alert, and continuously improving our component to make sure all new reviews are good. It also inform new visitor how people are currently viewing the component, instead of how it was 3 months ago! (which is a very long time in this internet time) Thi...

Permission Denied Message on JoomlaCode

I typed in "Birthdays" in the search box and a list of items returned.  But when I click to view some of the extensions I get the message Permission Denied.  Any idea why?

Thanks!!

Re: Why Are Reviews Not Sorted in Order

O duh!! This sure is the forum...I'll try not to eat lunch so late next time I think the extensions should be listed in order of date (descending).  Why??  Well, the extensions are continually updated so a review that was listed a year ago may not be relevant to the extension a year later ...

Why Are Reviews Not Sorted in Order

Just wondering why the reviews on the extension page are not sorted in either ascending or descending order, preferably the latter.

Re: Extensions on Static Site

Well, that was my original question ???

Can any of the extensions listed be incorporated on static sites or they are made specifically for CMS sites.  I have a static site that I would like to include a directory on so I'm wondering if this is possible.

Re: Extensions on Static Site

Hi Brad,

I realize Joomla is free, fairly easy and fun ;D, but I didn't want to redo the site I already created.  I just wanted to know if I can possibly add a component to it.  Moving forward I'll use Joomla as it's capability seems great.

Thanks!

Re: Extensions on Static Site

If you wanted, you could run a Joomla install purely for running an extension,

Can you clarify this part?  How would I set this up?

Thanks!
