Re: Inserting registered users directly in mysql

Pleased to hear that, excellent news, good luck with your site....

If you are happy that the post is now resolved, could I ask if you could now go back to your FIRST post and update it to SOLVED in the Message Icon drop down box to allow other users to quickly find resolved issues. Thank you.

Re: Inserting registered users directly in mysql

Search for "aro" and "user tables" this will yield many results for similar if not the same transaction you are trying to acheive. It is most likely that you are not updating all the required tables.

I beleive these are the related tables;

You are correct, hijaking a thread will get the attention of a moderator, however, it is unlikley to get tgeir attention in the manner that you wished, also the community and forum staff will answer as many posts as often as they can, without promoting, it will not raise the urgency of your post ove...

Favicons problem

Personally, I would suggest Tools or Admin Tools/Server @kai_marpee hi I have tried so many times. Sometimes I get the right favicon for a while. Sometimes I get it on the backend, sometimes not. Really, really frustrating. It changes right in the middle of going through the site. Which reminds me, ...

Try taking a closer look at Community Builder, this allows many "customisations" and user configurations, there are also many many plugins for CB that should acheive most of everything you need.

You also need to update all of the following tables for users to be properly registered; jos_users jos_core_acl_aro jos_core_acl_groups_aro_map There are several threads in the forums describing the relationships and I do seem to remember quite some time ago a script being supllied by someone to ass...

The extensions do already have tags for compatibilty in the detail page, (top right hand corner), but I would certainly be in favour of the comptibiluity tags being on the category list page, to save having to go in to each record to find out its compatibility

Re: how to add php code in the TinyMCE html editor

There are several Extensions (http://extensions.joomla.org) that will perform this functionality for you. Joomla! is not designed to natively manage forms directly from articles. Not saying that it cannot be done, just not as easily as with the aprropriate extension.
