I'm afraid, that this will last a while.
Because I should get some notifcation mails, I am watching the logs of my mailserver and the errors still occur.
My manual entry was _NOT_ the reason that my registration mail was received, but the (only one) correct connect from your site.
see log entry from the only one correct session:
Sep 2 20:08:30 atlas postfix/smtpd[27121]: connect from atlanta.directrouter.com[65.254.35.66]

Sep 2 20:08:30 atlas postfix/smtpd[27121]: disconnect from atlanta.directrouter.com[65.254.35.66]
all other connects (8) where like this one (recorded approx. 15 muinutes ago):
Sep 3 00:38:50 atlas postfix/smtpd[4424]: connect from unknown[65.254.35.66]
Sep 3 00:38:50 atlas postfix/smtpd[4424]: NOQUEUE: reject: RCPT from unknown[65.254.35.66]: 450 Client host rejected: cannot find your hostname, [65.254.35.66]; from=
to=< censored > proto=ESMTP helo=
Sep 3 00:38:50 atlas postfix/smtpd[4424]: disconnect from unknown[65.254.35.66]
The question is: Why did atlanta.directrouter.com connect with the correct servername only 1 time?
