Correct me if I am wrong but comments on extensions are sorted by how many people found the comment useful. If that is correct I wonder whether that is the best plan. Comments that have been posted for the longest time are more likely to get more 'useful' tags. So often the oldest comments appear at...

With reference to the first post in this thread - a quick workaround with no changes to the config file is, in cpanel, vdeck etc, delete the current user and immediately redo it with the same name and same password and set permissions as thought it was a new user. Only takes a couple of seconds.

As this is such a major Joomla! change, would it not be appropriate to have a separate extension list for 1.5 - please Even if it means duplicating some listings.

There are several categories: new extensions, most popular, most reviewed etc. But would it be possible to add another 'latest updated extentions' or something similar? Once an extension has been posted and is in its category, it is 'silently' updated and not 'flagged up' apart from the upload date ...
