Great tool. Can help a lot of people who are not actually coders or developers but use joomla extensively.

Re: What happened to the forum today???

That is not easy always, that may end your beautiful relationship with an ugly divorce. It is like a Filipino marrying a pygmy and expecting a Punjabi child.goodman123 wrote: to avoid performance problems, i think the best is to use different pieces of software (joomla, drupal, phpbb, etc) all together.

Re: What happened to the forum today???
I guess, I misunderstood between reporting and complaining. I see complains but hey, with your perspective, I have to agree that they are reports of bugs while using this forum because the mods were doing something at the back end. One mod said..."PHPBB3 is stable!" I believe in him. Yes ...

Re: What happened to the forum today???
I think the forum looks fantastic. Only wish I knew how to integrate it in my site just like it. This is not integrated with joomla but a standalone installation of phpbb3. :pop But now forum is working fine and soon we will have a stable migration from the previous one. We are enjoying new forum a...

No doubt they have done a great job and I think future versions of phpbb3 will be more secure than ever. I think phpbb3 is more stable and secure but it is too early to say anything about this.

Yes search is quiet stable now but still having problems with friends/foes lists and bookmarks or subscribed topics are all empty. May be needed to convert or add database in phpbb3 for that... May be work is still going on.

Re: What happened to the forum today???
Everything is fine looks great. Most of the functions are working well except two I have noticed till now. One is "Search" where irrelevant results or no results are shown some times and the other and more important is both my friends/foes (friends/foes lists) died or disappeared somewhere...

Re: Joomlacode down
We should have or rather need an official joomla torrent site. This could release some burden from joomlacode.org and can help others share the load as well.

Keep both options open. With torrents few users like me can share the load and keep system fast enough for non torrent users.
