Re: looks like joomla org hacked
Louis, I'm neither angry nor frustrated, just worried about my site being subject to the same kind of attack, as this has happened before, so I know what it's like from personal experience. I am also not looking to blame anyone, I just do not think it is siple coincidence joomla.org AND all those ot...

Re: looks like joomla org hacked
I don't think this optimism and flower-handing for bringing the official sites back online, as well as blaming one setting and a non-distributed component, will fix and explain the defacing of 200+ other Joomla sites defaced in the last hours by the same folks... Sorry to not see this as such a grea...

Re: look like joomal.org hacked
It's been over 24hrs now, I do know it's a week-end (those guys didn't do this on a saturday without reason), but there are tools available to analize log files etc, and I thought Joomla were using a security scanner software on their code anyway, so it's getting a bit long to wait for info..?! Ther...

Re: look like joomal.org hacked
How will publication of the investigations be handled, do we have to wait untill hole and fix both are available if it's Joomla core, will you post the hole if it's a 3rd part extension even before the fix is available so concerned people can remove it from their sites, are there any hints yet..? Do...

Re: Please define "personal attacks"
Wendy, thanks loads, that's perfect. Maybe adding the link to the rules would help? Only part I don't like too much in there is t is considered a personal attack when a person starts referencing a supposed flaw or weakness in an individual's personality, beliefs, lifestyle, convictions or principles...

Re: Please define "personal attacks"
Brad, had I recieved a notification, I wouldn't have reposted. After the repost disappearing, I wouldn't have put it up on my site. When I move posts over at the french forums, I leave at least a one-day redirect, so the person knows what is going on... These rules are specific to the GPL forums onl...

Re: Why Are Reviews Not Sorted in Order
.. the more time passed since the rating was placed, the lower that rating will be not so good, as you can just have people post new ratings to make bad ones go out of sight.. Imagine an extension which hasn't been updated in a long time: older reviews would still apply.. But I'd also rather see th...

Why not the right place, it's called Events and there's no further description.. Events (and the pictures thereof) is what the question is about..

ok that also answers my question in the first one about it's location.. Jinx, I think it's easier if the French people post their reports in their native language and if they can't be clarified and are confirmed, we'll repost here in english? Not all users post well in English.. (take me for example...

Re: Is the new beta test's button a callback function?
Most websites offer copy/paste code to display their banner on your site, which calls an image on their webspace, nothing unusual and it's easy to see in the code too... As to using that info to say someone can't comment because (s)he is not using it, that's a bit far-fetched, no..? I don't have to ...
